About

Christine in her Leicester workshop

What do I do? Jewellery and Art in Enamelled Silver and Copper. I design and make individual jewellery which I sell at Art and Craft events and in my Etsy shop - contact me if you have a special idea in mind.

A bit about my background - I can not remember a time when I didn't make things. Collecting ideas and materials is second nature

A degree in Silversmithing and Jewellery brought me from the countryside and a childhood on the farm - to the city of Leicester. The course gave me the knowledge and experience I needed to work in precious metals and a free rein to explore my creativity. I found myself a job as the designer for a jewellery manufacturer in Worcester. They made mass produced jewellery in 9ct gold and my designs sold in shops all over England. A great experience....but I really wanted more scope to do my own thing.

Now I enjoy making jewellery in Silver and Enamelled copper from my own workshop in Leicester. I enjoy creating my own ideas and experimenting with new techniques and materials. All of my work is handmade and each piece is unique.

I was recently selected as Cookson Gold’s “Designer of the Month” have a look at the interview - https://www.cooksongold.com/blog/designer-of-the-month/designer-of-the-month-christine-pearson

I am a member of The Guild of Enamellers, The Guild of Jewellery Designers and my Makers Mark is registered at Sheffield Assay Office, as required by law. Have a look at the events I have coming up on my Whats On page.

From designing, to the final piece, all of my work is done by hand. Below are some photos of the different stages of making my jewellery.
